Michael Ann Holly to join the faculty as Robert Sterling Clark Visiting Professor 2014-15

Michael Ann Holly will be the Robert Sterling Clark Visiting Professor for the 2014-2015 academic year. She will be teaching two courses: Methods of Art History, a seminar in the intellectual history of the history of art that concentrates on the ways this tradition has been challenged by recent critical trends in the discipline, and Twelve Books, a seminar that will focus on twelve books (one a week for the semester) that have significantly shaped the history of art history over the past century and a quarter. Michael is joining us as Clark Professor after serving as Starr Director of Research and Academic Program at the Clark from 1999-2013.
