Graduate Symposium

  Graduate Symposium        symposium general

The Graduate Symposium constitutes the keystone academic event of each student’s final semester. All students in their second year deliver a paper at the Symposium and participate in its proceedings. Papers are based on a Qualifying Paper (QP) undertaken during a student’s course of study in the Program and further developed over a sequence of practice runs that precede the Symposium. The Symposium falls on graduation weekend and constitutes a significant event for the art history community in Williamstown.
